May and June workshops were beautiful - full of loving energy
This workshop is for anyone likely to die this century......
This workshop is a very gentle introduction to exploring our spiritual nature and confronts one of the biggest fears in humanity. By exploring the subject of dying we can begin to break down the barriers and taboos that have emerged in modern society and give an opportunity to share experiences that are sometimes difficult to talk about. Unless we are comfortable with the idea of our own mortality and all it implies, we won't be able to enjoy our lives fully. By confronting death itself, transformation can occur and the very joy of what it means to live can be greatly enhanced.
Death, it seems is becoming a subject that is best avoided. Yet our own mortality is too important to leave to chance or the medical profession. To have a good death it seems we have to enter the arena ourselves and that means facing up to difficult truths.
According to the Tibetan Book of Living and Dying we can actually use our lives to prepare for death. We don't have to wait for the painful death of someone close to us or the shock of terminal illness to force us into looking at our own lives.
I provide a comfortable safe environment to explore this subject and allowing you express your own thoughts and ideas on what mortality means to you and share personal experiences that are not easy to talk about in day to day living. The day also includes a section on Soul Purpose - looking at why we incarnate here on earth, what we have come to perhaps learn and the gifts we have been given for this lifetime.
